Using Your Pulse Oximeter

Purpose of a Pulse Oximeter

A pulse oximeter measures three things: oxygen saturation (SPo2), pulse rate, and pulse wave. Oxygen saturation is the percent of oxygen in your blood which determines how well your heart is pumping oxygen through your body.

Getting Ready to Connect Your Pulse Oximeter
  1. The following steps should be completed after you have downloaded the app on your phone and once you have taken your new device out of the box.
  2. Make sure you have your phone and pulse oximeter (with batteries inside) near you.
