A pulse oximeter measures three things: oxygen saturation (SPo2), pulse rate, and pulse wave. Oxygen saturation is the percent of oxygen in your blood which determines how well your heart is pumping oxygen through your body.
Getting Ready to Connect Your Pulse Oximeter
The following steps should be completed after you have downloaded the app on your phone and once you have taken your new device out of the box.
Make sure you have your phone and pulse oximeter (with batteries inside) near you.

Taking a Reading
Open the app by tapping the app icon on your smartphone screen.
Once opened, tapthe “New Reading” button on the bottom left of your smartphone screen.
Tap the “Beurer PO60” that is listed on your smartphone.
Once “Ready to Take Reading” is presented, follow the instructions listed on your smartphone.
Once done, you will see your reading on your smartphone. You can enter a note (if needed). To leave this screen, press “Open Health Data” or “< Back”
Tips for Taking a Reading
Squeeze the backend of the pulse oximeter to open it.
Insert your index finger into the opening, placing it on the pad inside.
